Donald Trump has issued a bold challenge to President Biden, offering to donate $10 million to a charity of Biden’s choice if he loses a round of golf to him, via Fox News.
At a rally in Florida on Tuesday night, Trump, visibly sweaty, told the crowd, “I’m also officially challenging Crooked Joe to an 18-hole golf match right here. On Doral’s Blue Monster, considered one of the greatest tournament golf courses anywhere in the world. It will be among the most-watched sporting events in history.” He added, “I will even give Joe Biden 10 strokes aside, 10 strokes, that’s a lot. That means 20 strokes in case you don’t play golf. And if he wins, I will give the charity of his choice – any charity that he wants – 10 million dollars. And I bet he doesn’t take the offer.”
The Biden campaign quickly dismissed Trump’s challenge, labeling the rally as “deranged.” Spokesperson James Singer stated, “Joe Biden doesn’t have time for Donald Trump’s weird antics – he’s busy leading America and defending the free world”, told Mail Online.
In another bizarre moment during the rally, Trump compared himself to notorious gangster Al Capone, saying, “Al Capone got indicted less than I did.” The comment left many viewers baffled, with some noting that Trump seemed to be bragging about his indictments. One viewer remarked, “Donald Trump sounds absolutely insane right now, why is he talking about Scarface and Al Capone?”
Trump’s rally, held at one of his Miami-area golf courses, took place as he nears a deadline to announce his running mate. However, much of the attention remains focused on questions about Biden’s ability to govern for another term. “Our victory was so absolute that Joe’s own party now wants him to throw in the towel and surrender the presidency after a single 90-minute performance,” Trump said. “They want ‘Crooked Joe’ out of the race. It’s a shame the way they’re treating him. But don’t feel sorry for him. He’s a very bad guy.”
Trump also targeted Vice President Kamala Harris, referring to her as “Laughing Kamala” and criticizing the “Biden-Harris administration” for their immigration policies. Speculation has mounted that Harris might replace Biden as the Democratic nominee.
“Despite all the Democrat panic this week, the truth is, it doesn’t matter who they nominate — because we are going to beat any one of them in a thundering landslide, and this November’s going to be amazing,” Trump declared.
