The hefty bill, primarily due to lavish food and drink, included an eye-popping $40,800 spent on wine alone. Among the costly items were five bottles of luxury Pinot Noir, each priced at $3,950, ten bottles of Bordeaux at $1,000 each, and Dom Perignon champagne totaling $7,440.
In addition to the wine, West splurged $3,100 on smoked salmon and served top-notch caviar at $320 per 30 grams. The group also enjoyed $1,340 worth of the finest French steak. The party, attended by thirty of his friends, was described by an insider as a testament to West’s hosting prowess.
“Kanye was a great host,” an insider told The Sun magazine. “He isn’t afraid to spend tons of money on food and drink. He loves Paris and French cuisine. He is the kind of person that we love—he doesn’t count how much he spends, as long as everyone involved has a great time.”
The total amount spent on the dinner party is enough to buy two brand new Toyota Yaris Hybrids, which cost around £19,950 each, or 225 pairs of Nike Air Max 95 shoes, priced at £175 each. Alternatively, one could enjoy a lavish holiday with the same amount of money.
