Ivanka Trump and her husband, real estate developer Jared Kushner, are set to launch a new luxury Aman hotel in Albania. The project, a 1,400-acre island in the Mediterranean, aims to bring together top architects and brands to create a unique and opulent experience.
“Right now, I’m working with my husband,” Ivanka Trump revealed in an interview on Lex Friedman’s podcast. “We have this 1,400-acre island in the Mediterranean, and we’re bringing in the best architects and the best brands.”
The mountainside resort will be managed by Vlad Dronin’s ultra-luxe Aman brand and will feature the renowned foodie hotspot Carbone. “Aman’s going to operate the hotel for us, and they’re going to be villas, and we have Carbone who’s going to be doing the food and beverage,” Ivanka explained. “It’s amazing to bring together all of this talent. And for me to be able to play around and flex the real estate muscles again and have some fun with it.”
Ivanka, who previously worked in the White House with her father and Kushner before stepping back to spend time with her children in Miami, emphasized her commitment to honoring the natural topography of the location. The conceptual drawings aim to blend modern design with the existing vegetation and terrain. “Obviously, you want glass. You want to look out and see that gorgeous blue ocean, but how do you do that in a way that doesn’t feel generic and isn’t a squandered opportunity to create something new,” she added.
Aman, known for its exclusive and luxurious properties, has a loyal following that includes Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, the Kardashians, Angelina Jolie, David Beckham, George and Amal Clooney, Tom Hanks, and various royal families. The brand operates over 30 properties in 20 countries, with rooms averaging around $1,400 per night and villas priced at $5
Ivanka has been a regular visitor at Aman’s New York City location and is excited to bring the brand’s signature luxury to their new project in Albania.
In addition to her real estate ventures, Ivanka will support her father, former President Donald Trump, when he officially accepts the GOP nomination for president. However, she will not participate in any political capacity.
