Gigi Hadid never quite fit Leonardo DiCaprio’s dating profile, and now the reasons behind their breakup are reportedly being revealed. The 48-year-old actor, who normally loves models under the age of 25, stepped outside the box when he started spending out with Hadid this fall, and she seemed to be understanding why he prefers the younger set.
The 27-year-old model, who has a 2-year-old daughter with Zayn Malik, reportedly believes DiCaprio’s lifestyle is too hectic. That’s why she doesn’t seem bothered by the fact that he’s recently been spotted with model Victoria Ramos, 23. “Gigi doesn’t have the energy to run after DiCaprio,” a source told Page Six. “His routine is too much for her.”
While DiCaprio is setting from coast to coast and hit the clubs at all hours, Hadid desires a quieter existence for her daughter while maintaining her high-profile work. It’s almost as though, at the age of 27, she’s too mature for The Revenant actor – she has different priorities and responsibilities than he has as a confirmed bachelor.
Despite the allure of having an A-list star interested in you, Hadid’s pals have always maintained that “Gigi’s priority is her daughter.” She was never persuaded by DiCaprio’s fame and has remained loyal to herself, so if he wants to date another woman, Hadid is allegedly fine with it. She is too busy with becoming a mother and a supermodel to chase anyone around the globe.
