Gabby Petito’s parents shared a picture of her forearm tattoo along with an encouraging message about the foundation established in her honor. A year after she was found dead, the Gabby Petito Foundation, which was established in her memory, posted a picture of her on Facebook with the three words inked on her forearm.
Gabby, then 22, was just starting her modeling career when she and her fiancé Brian Laundrie embarked on their final road trip. Gabby was killed during her trip, which was a horrific tragedy for the Petito family. After going missing for a week, her body was found in Wyoming National Park on September 19, 2021.
According to the forensic reports, the victim was strangled to death. Brian, her boyfriend, was dragged down the same road as their pleasant trip ended in despair and agony for members of their family. Brian’s body was found after he committed suicide, with a note claiming responsibility for Gabby’s death.
Gabby’s parents created the Gabby Petito Foundation to raise awareness and make a lasting difference in the lives of those affected by similar tragedies through educational programs.
