What should’ve been a wholesome Disneyland photo dump turned into a conspiracy theory frenzy. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently shared a sweet video montage of their two-day trip to the theme park with their kids, Archie and Lilibet—but internet sleuths had other ideas.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, posted a carousel of adorable clips and snapshots from the family outing, which included everything from Space Mountain to princess meet-and-greets. As usual, Meghan and Harry kept their children’s faces private by covering them with heart emojis. But that didn’t stop online theorists from claiming the entire thing was staged—or even AI-generated. The bizarre theories were first reported by the Daily Mail, which detailed how online users claimed the kids weren’t actually there, and pointed to everything from floating limbs to inconsistent outfits as so-called “evidence.”

Yep, people actually think Archie and Lilibet weren’t there at all. Some have zoomed into the photos and claimed there’s a “disembodied hand” holding Lilibet up, suggesting someone (maybe a nanny?) was edited out. Others say Lilibet looks like she’s floating, or that the photo was taken months ago and reused—because Archie is layered up in clothes while Lilibet wears a light dress.

One particularly unhinged theory claims the family didn’t even go to Disneyland. The supposed evidence? No one else at the park posted spotting them over the two days. A few users online even shared what they claimed were “uncovered” photos of the kids’ faces—though these seem to be fake.

Critics have picked apart the smallest details. One Reddit user flagged the plank beneath Lilibet’s feet, claiming it looked weirdly edited. Others questioned why she was barefoot or why her hair wasn’t brushed. “Why is Lili barefoot, in a nightgown with unbrushed hair at Disneyland?” one person posted. Another replied more realistically: “Anyone with young children knows they are forever taking their shoes off.”

Some theories even circled back to old internet rumors, with one troll connecting the video to a previously shared clip of Meghan twerking while pregnant—reviving the debunked “moonbump” theory that claimed she was never really expecting Lili.

Amid all the noise, Meghan and Harry’s montage actually showed a warm, fun-filled family vacation. The couple and their kids explored rides like Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the Cars attraction, posed with Stormtroopers from Star Wars, and even rocked matching Mickey and Minnie Mouse hats.

One standout moment was when Lilibet and Archie met Elsa from Frozen. Meghan gently held her children’s hands as they walked toward the Disney princess. According to body language expert Judi James, Meghan “sweetly adopts a personal status-lowering technique” by bowing her head as if Elsa were royalty, creating a magical moment for her kids.

James also noted that the couple appeared very in-sync, saying their “body language looks synchronised here suggesting this PR aspect is a mutual objective.” She added that their Disneyland outing, along with recent playful videos, might be part of a “Harry and Meghan re-brand” aimed at showing a fun, down-to-earth family behind the royal headlines.

At one point, Meghan posted a heartfelt message to her 3.6 million followers: “Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!” The background music? Peggy Lee’s “It’s a Good Day.”

The day ended with birthday cake for Lilibet, who turned four during the trip. Her cake was Little Mermaid-themed, covered in blue frosting and topped with “Happy Birthday Lili” in pink icing.

No matter what the conspiracy crowd thinks, it sure looked like a day filled with love, laughter, and corndogs.
